Peter Adams
Peter was born and raised on the east coast but he and his wife Tammy have put down their roots and raised their family here in Lincoln.  He graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and completed his masters degree in Education Administration and Leadership from La Sierra University. If you were to ask Peter what his favorite subject is you would see his eyes light up as he started talking about History. Throughout the year he brings history alive by having the students create a sarcophagus and greek city/states. They also compete in the greek olympics, research American presidents and increase their vocabulary by learning a large number of new words. One of the traditions that the students look forward to is the 7th & 8th grade canoe trip down the Niobrara River in Northern Nebraska. He's passionate about teaching, he's a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team and he loves to travel, cook and like all great teachers...learn new things!  One of the things that Peter really enjoys about working at CVA is the people that he gets to interact with daily! The kids, the faculty, the parents and the community all work together to build an awesome educational experience for the students.
