High School

College View Academy is a Christian high school with big opportunities to learn and to serve in God’s Kingdom. CVA provides Christ-centered, student-focused, and engaged learning — we are a great place for students to find community — as we offer many opportunities for students in arts, in athletics, in robotics, in academics and in serving others.  Our vision is to create a holistic educational experience that builds a solid foundation for eternity.  We strive to teach students to know God and His world through Christ-centered education in order to serve Him in today’s society and we encourage students to use their God given gifts in the classroom, in chapel, on the field, in the gym, on stage and in all the other ways that God will lead them.

High School Happenings

Academic Chapel
In our Spring 2017 Academic Chapel, we honored CVA students who have achieved high academic success during the 1st semester of the 2016-2017 school year. Tyler Morrison from Union College shared an inspirational talk and then our Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) president, Amy Bock, presented the students with their awards. 20 students achieved High Distinction with a GPA of 3.9 or higher.  10 students achieved Distinction with a 3.7-3.89 GPA and 6 students achieved Honors with a GPA of 3.5-3.69.
Union College Invitational Basketball Tournament
The College View Academy students participated in the Union College Invitational Basketball Tournament.  It was so much fun to see the schools playing hard on the court but always remembering to walk off the court as friends and circle up in prayer to close out the games.  What a true blessing to witness great sportsmanship and to use the God given athletic abilities to praise and honor him.
